Ayla’s First Hunt Trip: A Kansas Adventure!

November 2024 was a momentous month for Ayla! She embarked on her very first hunt trip to Norton, Kansas, where she experienced the thrill of the chase firsthand.

For several days, Ayla joined other enthusiastic bird dogs in exploring the diverse Kansas landscape. She eagerly traversed vast fields, her nose to the ground, diligently searching for her quarry.

Pheasants were a particular challenge, and Ayla quickly learned to work in tandem with other dogs to pinpoint their location. The thrill of the flush, the excitement of the chase – these were experiences that ignited her passion for the hunt.

Quail hunting proved to be a different kind of adventure. Ayla learned to navigate through dense cover, her instincts guiding her as she flushed coveys of these swift birds.

Throughout the trip, Ayla’s energy was boundless. Her enthusiasm for the hunt was evident in every eager stride, every focused point, and every determined track. It was clear that Ayla had a thirst for adventure that would continue to fuel her passion for bird hunting.

Ayla’s first hunt trip to Kansas was an unforgettable experience. It was a journey of discovery, where she honed her hunting skills, learned to work with other dogs, and most importantly, discovered a love for the sport that will surely last a lifetime.
